I originally interviewed Heather with Bellingham Weddings when I was looking into wedding officiants. She was very warm, friendly, and excited to talk about what type of ceremony I was planning. Heather was more than willing to tailor the ceremony to be whatever my fiance and I wanted. My parents ended up wanting me to choose a family friend to be our officiant but Heather had mentioned she could assist me with accessing wholesale prices in a variety of areas such as with flowers, invitations, vases, and candles for a small fee. I would have loved to hire Heather after our first meeting as a full time wedding planner but my budget just didn't have room for it. Heather provided me with information about AMAZING deals on organic wholesale flowers! She also did the same for wholesale vases, orchids, and soy candles. My mother is a retired floral designer so doing my ceremony and reception decor ourselves was the plan we had decided on. Heather also made it clear if I needed help with any of the design ideas I could run anything by her as well. It was refreshing that she saw the importance of including green elements in my wedding, although she provided these suggestions in a gentle, non judgmental way. Heather was very helpful with speaking with these vendors for me as well. If there were any areas where I wanted clarification, say for instance about the invitation, Heather quickly contacted them. I designed my invitations my self and through Heather's contact I was able to get them for at least $300-$500 less than if I had them printed myself. They turned out perfect too!! I can't say enough good things about Bellingham Weddings! The assistance I received from Heather greatly lowered my stress while planning my wedding and I recommend Bellingham Weddings to any bride no matter what level of assistance they are seeking.
